Junior Account Manager

We are looking for a talented sales professional to manage relationships with existing customers. The Junior Acount Manager will work alongside our existing Account Management Team to drive and maximize sales opportunities. This includes following up on sales leads, responding to inquiries from customers and growing existing accounts. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Iron Speed, Inc. produces Iron Speed Designer, a software tool for developing and deploying enterprise-class .NET web applications. Iron Speed Designer dramatically reduces application development time, freeing developers to focus on customization and integration.

We are a well-funded startup in San Jose, CA with an experienced management team.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Solicit existing customers for product subscription renewals
Solicit existing customers to sell additional software licenses
Prepare quotes for renewals and additional licenses
Back up and support Account Management Team as needed
Contact and provide information to IT decision makers in companies of all sizes
Front line contact with customers, prospects and leads and responsibility for a monthly revenue goal
Maintain accurate records and data on customers in our database
Develop and maintain a high level of product and market knowledge to help customers succeed with our products
Regularly develop and submit accurate forecasts and reports as required
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done

Job Requirements

Looking for an energetic, tech savvy, self starter who is eager to learn the software business
Sales or Account Management experience in software tools or the IT industry a plus
This could be a good opportunity for someone in lead generation to grow into a role where they manage the entire sales cycle
The ideal candidate should have excellent written communication skills and professional demeanor, while maintaining a high volume of emails and phone calls predominantly with an international audience
Desire to work quickly and communicate clearly with team members in real time
Detail oriented and technically proficient, with aptitude for learning new things quickly
Solid track record of exceeding sales goals and quotas
Knowledge of sales procedures, practices and techniques
Self starter with proven ability to succeed with minimal supervision in a demanding startup sales environment
Technology and computer literacy required. Proficient in a variety of software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Successful candidate will apply their organizational skills, sense of urgency and attention to detail in this sales position

Education

Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) required

Salary

Base salary plus commissions commensurate with experience
