Sign-In control updated

Iron Speed Designer Version 5.1 includes support for Active Directory and Microsoft Authorization Manager.  As part of this new application functionality, a number of changes were made to the sign-in controls to support both the existing role-based security feature as well as the new features.

Migration effects

During migration, existing Sign-In control files are replaced with new Sign-In control files.  These files will be replaced in your application with newer versions from the Project Templates folder.

• Shared\SignIn_Control.ascx

• Shared\SignIn_Control.ascx.cs (vb)

• App_Code\Shared\SignIn_Control.controls.ascx.cs (vb)

Customizations you have made to these files will not be retained.

What you should do

After migration, re-apply any customizations you may have made to the original Sign-In control files to the new Sign-In control files in your application.
