Account Manager |
We are looking for a talented Account Manager to manage end-to-end relationships with existing customers.
This includes following up on leads, responding to inquiries from customers, and working to grow existing accounts.
This individual interfaces with all departments within Iron Speed and should have a can-do, self-starter attitude and
eagerness to learn our business and technology. This position reports to the Sales Manager.
Iron Speed, Inc. produces Iron Speed Designer, a software tool for developing and deploying enterprise-class
.NET web applications. Iron Speed Designer dramatically reduces application development time, freeing developers
to focus on customization and integration.
We are a well-funded startup in San Jose, CA with an experienced management team.

Primary Job Responsibilities |
 | Solicit existing customers for product subscription renewals and sales of additional software licenses |
 | Prepare quotes for renewals and additional licenses |
 | Follow up on new prospect sales during times of heavy lead flow or vacation periods for inside sales team |
 | Contact and provide information to IT decision makers in companies of all sizes |
 | Front line contact with customers, prospects and leads and responsibility for a monthly revenue goal |
 | Maintain accurate records and data on customers in our database |
 | Develop and maintain a high level of product and market knowledge to help customers succeed with our products |
 | Regularly develop and submit accurate forecasts and reports as required |

Job Requirements |
 | Minimum 1-2 years Inside Sales or Account Management experience in the software development tools industry, with proven success selling to the IT audience |
 | Dynamic self-starter |
 | Detail oriented and technically proficient, with aptitude for learning new things quickly |
 | Solid track record of exceeding sales goals and quotas |
 | Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor |
 | Knowledge of sales procedures, practices and techniques |
 | Proven ability to succeed with minimal supervision in a demanding startup sales environment |
 | Technology and computer literacy required; proficient in a variety of software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint |
 | Successful candidate will apply their organizational skills, sense of urgency and attention to detail in this sales position |
