Iron Speed Designer uses the MySQL Connector/NET data provider to connect to a MySQL database. MySQL Connector/Net is a fully-managed ADO.NET driver written in 100% pure C#.
Iron Speed Designer has been tested to work with MySQL Connector/NET version 5.0.7. This data provider is available from MySQL.com and must be installed on both the development machine running Iron Speed Designer as well as on the production machine running any application created by Iron Speed Designer that utilizes MySQL.
