Certain third-party controls are supported by Iron Speed Designer.  These controls range from alternative web grids and menus to charts and reports.

Adding a third-party control to your web page

Third-party controls typically appear in the Iron Speed Designer tool box and may be dragged onto a web page in the Design tab.  Once on a web page, they appear as a grayed-out panel, indicating the control still needs to be configured.

Configuring a third-party control

Step 1:  Click the “Configure…” button at the top of the third-party control in the Design tab to display the Configuration Wizard.

Step 2:  In turn, select each of the variables requiring configuration and select appropriate configuration values for them.  The available configuration values depend on the variable type.

Step 3:  Click “Next >” or “Finish” to complete the configuration.

Step 4:  Build and run your application to see the third-party control in action.
