There already appears to be an Iron Speed Designer application

Problem

You get this error in the Application Wizard.

The following errors occurred:

There already appears to be an Iron Speed Designer application in ‘XXX’. Please select a folder that is not a subfolder of another application.

This error occurs when you have selected an existing Iron Speed Designer application folder in which to create your application.

Solution

Either select a new folder name for your application, or remove the existing Iron Speed Designer-application from the folder. The Application Wizard generally looks for certain files that indicate the presence of an Iron Speed Designer-application, such as:

AppInfo.xml

Web.config

MyApp1.config (or similar application name)

Try removing these files along with any folders created for the application, which are typically named after your database tables, e.g., Customers, Products, Orders, etc.
