In your application, filter controls are displayed on top of the "swirling" icon used for smooth panel updates, and also over text and image pop-ups that appear when you hover over a long text or image field. These overlapping filter controls looks ugly because application users want to see the text and image pop-ups on top, not obstructed by the filter controls.
This problem occurs due to a bug in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (IE 6) browser.
