Error 1310: Error writing to file

Problem

You get this error when installing or uninstalling Iron Speed Designer:

Error 1310. Error writing to file: C:\Config.Msi\___.rbf. Verify that you have access to that directory.

The problem is a permissions issue. There is a process running in Vista that is resetting permissions on the C:\Config.msi directory to READ ONLY and resetting all the permissions every time an MSI is executed. This is a known problem with Windows Vista.
