Iron Speed Designer V7.0 introduces a multi-colored page style and a new language selection mechanism. Specific colors for the multi-color page style and specific languages for multi-lingual applications are selected via dropdown controls in the Upper Tool Bar.
All .XML files for the \Headers and Footers folder are replaced during migration. XML files for “Header.ascx”, “EmailHeader.ascx”, “PrintHeader.ascx”, and “Footer.ascx” are removed during migration. The corresponding code files are also removed during migration.
XML files for other header and footer files are also removed. However, the corresponded code files and ASCX files are preserved.
After migration, re-apply any customizations you may have made to the original header and footer code-behind files.
Custom headers and footers (those other than “Header.ascx”, “EmailHeader.ascx”, “PrintHeader.ascx”, and “Footer.ascx”) will not display in Design Mode and are not customizable in Iron Speed Designer. The corresponding code files and ASCX files will not be modified by Iron Speed Designer, and you can make any necessary changes in these files.
