Changing migrated application to Appalacian or Himalaya page style

The Appalacian and Himalaya page styles have page layouts that differ from other page styles.

The page layout was modified for the V7.1 Appalachian and V8.0 Himalaya page styles.  Specifically, in order to have a background color extend the full width of the browser behind the horizontal menu, a new table row (with cells pcmL, pcmC, and pcmR) needed to be added (between existing rows with pcT and pcC).

Migration effects

During migration, Iron Speed Designer does not update your application’s layout (so as not to overwrite any customizations you may have made).  Because of this, a change from another page style to Appalachian or Himalaya will not have the new layout.  The result is that the pcmC row will not exist, the horizontal menu will still reside in the pcC row, AND Appalachian or Himalaya theme's white menu text will appear over pcC's white background color, essential making it appear that the horizontal menu items had disappeared.

What you should do

To fix this, make the following modifications:

Step 1:  Add the pcmC row to HorizontalMenu.xml and VerticalMenu.xml.

Step 2:  Move the horizontal menu to the pcmC cell in Design Mode.
