Problem

You receive the following message when attempting to run your application:

Unable to connect to database. Unspecified Error. Designer.mdb...

This error occurs when you are running Iron Speed Designer V3.0.2 or earlier when Iron Speed Designer cannot access the database it uses for internal purposes. Note: the Designer.mdb database is not your application database.

Solution

Install Iron Speed Designer V3.0.3 or later, available from http://www.ironspeed.com/download. Be sure to install V3.0.3 in a different folder than earlier releases.
