Missing file: INSTMSIA.EXE

Problem

You get this error message when installing Iron Speed Designer:

Missing file : INSTMSIA.EXE

This error is caused if the version of Microsoft's Installer (MSI) agent on your system is out of date. This typically happens on earlier operating systems such as Windows 2000, NT, 95, 98 or ME. Please note that Iron Speed Designer does not support these older operating systems.

Solution

If you are using Windows XP or Windows 2003, please see the link below to download and install the latest MSI Installer.

Instmsiw.exe for Windows XP:
